Roberto Andreotti
Born in La Spezia in 1959, he lives and works in Rome. A scholar of Latin and Greek literature, he was a student of Maurizio Bettini. He is one of the editors of Alias, the cultural supplement of "Il manifesto."
He has written Classici elettrici. Da Omero al tardo-antico (Electric Classics. From Homer to Late Antiquity, Rizzoli 2006), Resistenza del classico (Resistance of the Classic, BUR Rizzoli 2009) e Ritorni di fiamma. Augusto, Virgilio, Ovidio e altri classici (Flamebacks.
