All the villagers of Notina love music, and they include some really odd, whimsical characters engaged in a wide variety of adventures: installers of rainbows, judges who put on private concerts for the local cats, nocturnal card-players in air balloons, a kangaroo with rock music blaring in its headphones, cows that try to dance, a cockerel that can change the colour of trees with the sound of its voice, shopkeepers who amuse themselves inventing weird musical instruments, people who buy silent gramophone records, children who take a double bass for walks around town, teachers who set their pupils puzzle-games, conductors who organize a musical duel in the main square, postmen who forget addresses, boys with powerful voices who can sweep away beach umbrellas merely by speaking, breakneck pursuits, clamorous concerts, a treasure hunt for a necklace of notes, and much else besides.

In Notina, music brings everyone together. One night, however, strange posters pop up on the walls of all the houses. Maestro Leon de Trombòn, with a very large orchestra, wants to challenge Maestro Bacchettafrolla's band!

How will the great musical battle end? Adventures made of notes, dreams and all the instruments of the orchestra.
