Syracuse University Press

Syracuse University Press, founded in 1943, is a university press that is part of Syracuse University. SUP continues to be committed to serving New York State—as well as the region, nation, and globe—by publishing vital scholarship, sharing ideas, and giving voice to important stories that may not have otherwise been told. To this end, the Press was awarded a Humanities Open Book Program grant, a collaborative effort between the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The grant allows Syracuse University Press to offer open access to classic out-of-print titles on New York State history and culture, and Irish studies.
